This is the philosophy behind Chanting Heart songs circles with Kevin James Carroll.Within the songs are messages of the heart. Some ancient, some modern and personal, yet all I believe are medicine for a mind that continues to believe the story of a separated self, yet yearns for reconnection, beyond the illusion of the ego.
By singing together in a group, these chanting circles are an effective platform to dissolve the ego, reconnect to the heart and come a little closer to who we really are, beyond the unconscious dream of separation that has confined the human spirit for so long. It is also an opportunity to send out our positive prayers to the world…“Prayer is not an old woman’s idle amusement. Properly understood and applied, it is the most potent instrument of action.”
